With over 40 years of experience in the golf industry, Rick Morton is the dedicated Head Golf Professional at Rock Creek Golf and Country Club. Rick began his golfing journey as a young enthusiast, eventually turning his passion into a career. He honed his skills by assisting Rock Creek’s former golf pro, Ronnie Parker in 1982. He later became head pro for Rock Creek in 1984.
Rick is not only an accomplished player, having competed in numerous regional tournaments, but also a highly regarded instructor. His teaching philosophy centers on tailoring lessons to each individual’s strengths and goals, whether they are new to the game or seasoned players looking to refine their technique.
Under Rick’s leadership, Rock Creek Golf and Country Club has seen a resurgence in membership and player engagement, thanks to his innovative clinics, junior programs, and commitment to providing a welcoming atmosphere for all.
When he’s not on the course, Rick enjoys spending time with his family, and staying up-to-date on the latest trends in golf technology and fitness. His passion for the game and dedication to helping others improve make him a valued member of the Rock Creek community.
