With over 40 years in the golf industry, Rick Morton has served as the dedicated Head Golf Professional at Rock Creek Golf & Country Club since 1984, carrying forward a tradition of excellence, instruction, and hospitality.

Professional Journey

Rick began his golfing journey as a young enthusiast, later turning that passion into a career by assisting Rock Creek’s former golf professional, Ronnie Parker, in 1982.

He became Head Pro in 1984 and has since guided generations of members and guests with steady leadership, deep experience, and a genuine love for the game.

As both a successful competitor and trusted instructor, Rick is known for tailoring lessons to each player’s strengths and goals—supporting beginners, juniors, and seasoned golfers alike.

Leadership & Legacy

Under Rick’s leadership, Rock Creek has seen renewed membership and stronger player engagement through innovative clinics, junior development programs, and a welcoming club atmosphere.

Away from the course, Rick enjoys time with his family and keeps current with modern golf technology and fitness trends to better serve the Rock Creek community.
